About Tier 1 Integrity
Tier 1 Integrity was built on a simple idea: the energy industry deserves an inspection and engineering partner that combines deep technical expertise with genuine accountability. Since 2014, that idea has grown into a 200+ person firm trusted by the industry's most demanding operators.
From Startup to Single-Source Provider
Tier 1 Integrity was founded in 2014 by Dustin Young as Oil Patch NDT, a company focused on delivering quality nondestructive examination services to the upstream oil and gas sector out of our corporate office in Pasadena, Texas.
As our clients' needs grew, so did we. We expanded into asset integrity consulting and engineering, opened offices across the Gulf Coast, and built a team of certified API inspectors, NDE technicians, mechanical integrity specialists, and licensed engineers.
In 2021, our NDE and asset integrity groups formally merged to become Tier 1 Integrity - a single-source provider positioned to deliver the full range of inspection, testing, and engineering services under one roof. Today, we serve more than 150 companies across refining, petrochemical, midstream, power, and manufacturing industries.
We remain privately held by design. It keeps us agile, accountable, and focused entirely on doing right by our clients and our people.
Milestones
Dustin Young founded Oil Patch NDT to provide quality NDE services to the upstream oil and gas sector. Corporate office established in Pasadena, Texas.
Opened our Beaumont, Texas office to support Golden Triangle customers with more economical NDE services.
Expanded to Mobile, Alabama to support the mechanical integrity needs of the local industry.
Formed the OilPatch AIS and Engineering groups to support client asset integrity programs. Opened offices in Freeport, Texas.
OilPatch NDT and OilPatch AIS merged to become Tier 1 Integrity, creating a single-source provider of inspection, testing, and engineering services.
Opened our Port Lavaca office to provide cost-effective solutions closer to key clients.
Awarded our single largest nested inspection and rope access services contract, placing 55 full-time personnel on location.
Crossed 1,000,000 man-hours with zero recordables. Achieved ISO 9001:2015 re-certification.
Won the IBR Safety Excellence Award (Silver) in the Technical Support Medium category.
To provide our clients with accurate, timely process equipment engineering, API inspections, and onsite NDT - laying the groundwork for improved asset reliability and safer operations across the energy sector.
